These animations are segements from an animated short I am developing. The rocket launch segement is a more complicated scene, with 2 motion captured character models and particle systems. The rocket launch was made using a particle system, with bounding boxes rendering the smoke material for explosions and smoke trails. All the models in these scenes are created by me and using original textures. Motion capture was made using the Brekel Body software, retargeted to armatures in Blender using the Rokoko extension, with the bad data being manually cleaned.
Various Animation Projects
This work was made using 8k textures for the planet surface. The cloud and atmospheric layers on the large planet also utilize these high res textures, with nodes managing the density. This project uses textures from the James Webb Space Telescope.
This motion capture test was done with Brekel Body and was modified into a more subtle idle animation using the graph editor. The goal was to create a simple idle that could be reused in multiple project scenes, that would appropriately merge with other animations (like the crouch animation in the clip)
